Constructed with a stainless steel case, the watch includes a unidirectional stainless steel bezel and a stainless steel link wristband that's secured with a fold-over safety clasp. A strong mineral window shields the textured white dial, which features black arrow hour markers, slim, black minute indexes, and yellow-tipped watch hands. The dial also includes three luminous subdials, a date calendar at six o'clock, and a day calendar beneath the 12 o'clock position. Featuring Swiss-quartz movement, the timepiece is water resistant to 660 feet (200 m).

Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

I received the watch on the 28th Dec and was impressed with the watch.

The battery did run flat 5 hours after I started it though this was rectified with a change in battery.
It has been running well since.

The strap of the watch is silicon and not rubber. It is thus more flexible and it can be stretched a little which makes the watch a nice comfortable fit around your wrist.

I also thought the SRP should be lower than the 1000 amazon stated. More like 600 if I recall correctly.

I gave it 4 stars just because of the battery incident.

Typically the Russian Diver's come with a rubber style band, but I decided to give this one a try, not a top choice of mine, but I just couldn't get over the price. The watch is very nice. The leather band to my dismay is rather attractive and comfortable. The watch was not a bad choice and I do get compliments while wearing it. I rated it a 5 star because of price, craftsmenship and construction. You just can't beat either. Sophisticated, yet simple, is my best description of this watch. I really like this watch, especially on those days when I just want everything simple. If you know anything about Invicta, and you like their products; enough said. I don't regret this purchase and would do it again. Later all.

I've heard plenty of bad things about Invicta, but the model I received could not be described as any of them.
The watch has been very faithfully accurate, and the movement of the hands in the chronograph our great. I wasn't expecting the longest hand to be used in the chronograph features only, but really that makes more sense, and I'm glad that the smaller of the second hands is used for standard time-telling.

Again, this watch is very nice. It feels sturdy and I'm confident wearing it in most tasks. I receive frequent compliments on it's appearance, and I enjoy it's functionality as well. My only worry at this point is keeping it looking so nice. I'm sure that if anything goes wrong with it's functions, that the warranty, which is extended to five years if you simply register the watch with Invicta, will cover it.

I hadn't worn a watch in years due to my vocation as a finish carpenter/cabinetmaker. When I needed to know the time, I grabbed my cellphone out of its protective leather case. Now that I'm basically retired, a watch is safe on my wrist!

I wanted to get a chronograph that would allow me to get precise time information for the sailing I am doing, and this Stuhrling Phoenix does that and looks good doing it. Not having worn a wristwatch in a while, I was concerned that it would be uncomfortable but the silicon rubber band is exceptionally comfortable. I was pleased to find such a watch in the 42mm diameter, as the 5xmm and up diameters are simply too large for practicality: I want to wear the watch, not have the watch wear me!

An excellent example of Swiss precision craftsmanship. I recommend it without reservation.
