In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

I received the watch on the 28th Dec and was impressed with the watch.

The battery did run flat 5 hours after I started it though this was rectified with a change in battery.
It has been running well since.

The strap of the watch is silicon and not rubber. It is thus more flexible and it can be stretched a little which makes the watch a nice comfortable fit around your wrist.

I also thought the SRP should be lower than the 1000 amazon stated. More like 600 if I recall correctly.

I gave it 4 stars just because of the battery incident.

The moment I saw Courtly online, I realized this was the watch i wanted to wear every day.
it took me a while to make the decision on purchase as i had some doubts related to quality. i was thinking of buying something more expensive, known and verified. but no other watch since then could impress me as Courtly did.
so before buying the watch I spent hours and hours reading reviews of other customers on various products of the company.
The watch arrived quickly. i loved it even more in person. it seams well-made. the face size is not too small. actually, it's slightly bigger than i expected, which is good.
overall the watch looks exactly as pictured: it is elegant and fits my business lady style very well. I am totally pleased with it and i plan to keep my eye on the Stuhrling line since i might want to buy another model in different colour.

Typically the Russian Diver's come with a rubber style band, but I decided to give this one a try, not a top choice of mine, but I just couldn't get over the price. The watch is very nice. The leather band to my dismay is rather attractive and comfortable. The watch was not a bad choice and I do get compliments while wearing it. I rated it a 5 star because of price, craftsmenship and construction. You just can't beat either. Sophisticated, yet simple, is my best description of this watch. I really like this watch, especially on those days when I just want everything simple. If you know anything about Invicta, and you like their products; enough said. I don't regret this purchase and would do it again. Later all.

Big, bold and masculine, The Clipper represents Stührling Original’s best version of an everyday timepiece from the "diver category." Powered by a Swiss quartz engine presenting a straightforward three hand movement with a quickset date, a large resilient Krysterna™ crystal, and housed within a solid 316L surgical grade stainless steel case, this Clipper provides reliability, durability and affordability. The radiant dial with its luminous markers and sport style hands, and the cyclops for the date magnification sitting atop the Krysterna™ crystal at the three o’clock position underscores the Clipper theme of simplicity and sophistication. The unidirectional twelve sided ratcheting bezel showing a color coordinated chapter ring provides a stylish frame and complements the aim of the series. I've heard plenty of bad things about Invicta, but the model I received could not be described as any of them.
The watch has been very faithfully accurate, and the movement of the hands in the chronograph our great. I wasn't expecting the longest hand to be used in the chronograph features only, but really that makes more sense, and I'm glad that the smaller of the second hands is used for standard time-telling.

Again, this watch is very nice. It feels sturdy and I'm confident wearing it in most tasks. I receive frequent compliments on it's appearance, and I enjoy it's functionality as well. My only worry at this point is keeping it looking so nice. I'm sure that if anything goes wrong with it's functions, that the warranty, which is extended to five years if you simply register the watch with Invicta, will cover it.
